Stunning vintage necklace designed by Marcel Boucher, one of the most celebrated names in mid-century costume jewelry. This rare piece features a bold, sculptural pendant showcasing a large, faceted marquise-cut crystal encased in an ornate gold-tone setting. The design is reminiscent of flowing flames or organic textures, masterfully crafted Surrounding the central stone are delicate, prong-set rhinestones that add an extra layer of brilliance. The pendant is suspended from a classic twisted rope-style chain, completing the sophisticated modern vintage look. It’s signed “LeC”, when Boucher worked under the “LeC” for a short period of time in and during the 50's and 60's. LeC pieces are rare, as only a fraction of his creations.
