A very ornate French antique ewer urn with a gleaming, red ceramic jug body and gilt bronze foot and trimmings, dating from the beginning of the 20th century and modelled on the Art Nouveau style.
This striking piece would originally have formed part of a three-piece set for decorating and adding grandeur to a very large and ornate mantel piece. Please note, the ewer is not hollow inside, so is purely for decorative purposes. It does have signs of wear, including the cherub missing one of his wings - this is reflected in the reduced price and is not really noticeable on display.
